Jeff Bernstein – The Voice of PRIDE U2 Tribute Band

Jeff Bernstein – The Voice of PRIDE

“The goal is soul.”

Jeff Bernstein, the dynamic frontman of PRIDE - IN THE NAME OF U2, serves as both the driving force behind the band’s unforgettable performances and the visionary shaping its mission. Born in New York, Jeff grew up surrounded by music. A family heritage of cantors on both sides made music an integral part of his identity. As Jeff reflects, “I did not choose music—it chose me.”

Jeff’s journey into music began when his father gifted him a guitar upon his high school graduation. That moment ignited a lifelong passion for songwriting, connection, and performance. From the first chords he played, Jeff understood that music is more than sound. It is an experience that unites and inspires. Drawn to U2’s emotional depth and universal messages, Jeff developed a deep admiration for Bono’s storytelling and ability to connect with audiences.

Jeff channels Bono’s energy and charisma on stage, transforming each PRIDE performance into an immersive celebration. A highlight of the show occurs during “Sunday Bloody Sunday,” when Jeff waves a white flag. This symbolic gesture, inspired by U2’s iconic concerts, calls for unity, peace, and shared purpose. Whether sharing heartfelt stories, engaging with the crowd, or delivering a powerful rendition of “Bad,” Jeff ensures that every performance resonates deeply with the audience.

Jeff also acts as PRIDE’s creative leader, curating performances that honor U2’s legacy while creating unique moments that define the band’s identity. For Jeff, music is about connection, unity, and delivering extraordinary experiences that stay with fans long after the final note.

With Jeff leading the charge, PRIDE captures the soul, passion, and timeless magic of U2’s music in every performance.

"Every performance is a journey to ignite connection, to make music a force that transcends sound and speaks directly to the soul." – Jeff Bernstein

Jerko Dabelić - The Jazz Man - U2 Tribute Band

Jerko Dabelić

The Jazz Man

Jerko Dabelić, affectionately known as “The Jazz Man,” is the dynamic bassist for PRIDE - IN THE NAME OF U2. He channels Adam Clayton’s distinctive style with passion and precision. Born in Rotterdam and raised in Texas, Jerko’s musical journey began with a classical Yamaha guitar. Initially inspired by the bass guitar, he found himself drawn to the guitar, which became the foundation of his musicianship.

With more than 30 years of experience as a rhythm and lead guitarist, Jerko has honed his mastery of music theory and melody. His expertise as a guitarist enhances his ability to create seamless synergy with the drums, providing depth and drive to PRIDE’s sound. The bass is, for Jerko, more than just an instrument. It represents the heartbeat of every song, anchoring the music while propelling it forward.

Jerko’s philosophy as a musician is to serve the song. His basslines, including the driving rhythm of “Until the End of the World” and the emotional resonance of “Moment of Surrender,” exemplify his ability to combine technical proficiency with heartfelt expression.

Jerko has earned accolades such as the Dallas Observer Best Cover Band award and brings a wealth of experience from performing with celebrated tribute acts. Every performance for Jerko is an opportunity to connect with audiences and celebrate U2’s enduring message of unity, hope, and humanity.

“The bass is the heartbeat of the song—steady, driving, and deeply connected. It anchors the rhythm, propels the melody, and brings the music to life. Playing bass is about creating that connection and sharing the emotion of every note.” – Jerko Dabelić

Brad Avants Guitarist and Live Experience Engineer.

Brad Avants

Guitar, keys, and Stage Sound Producer

Brad Avants, guitarist, keyboardist, and Stage Sound Producer for PRIDE - IN THE NAME OF U2, brings precision, passion, and innovation to every performance. A native of North Little Rock, Arkansas, Brad began his musical journey with self-taught keyboard skills in high school, but it was the guitar, discovered in his mid-20s, that truly captured his heart and became his musical foundation.

What drives Brad is the emotion embedded in U2’s music—the melodies, the power of the songs, the deeply moving lyrics, and the groundbreaking guitar work of The Edge. For Brad, performing with PRIDE is about sharing that connection with audiences, embracing the challenge of honoring U2’s sound while delivering performances that resonate deeply with fans.

Beyond his role as a guitarist, Brad applies his expertise as Stage Sound Producer to enhance PRIDE’s live shows. He develops custom in-ear systems, curates dynamic backing tracks, and crafts multimedia visuals that elevate the audience experience. His meticulous attention to detail ensures each performance is seamless, immersive, and a fitting tribute to U2’s legacy.

Brad’s passion for music is matched by his commitment to professionalism and excellence. Every performance is an opportunity to connect with fans and celebrate the enduring power of U2’s music, leaving audiences inspired and energized.

"What drives me is the emotion in the music—the melodies, the power of the songs, the deeply moving lyrics, and the innovative guitar work. I got into this to share my love of U2 with people, to perform some of my favorite music as authentically as I can, and to embrace the challenge and joy of performing.” - Brad Avants

Will Cruse The Rhythmic Powerhouse of PRIDE U2 Tribute Band

Will Cruse

The Rhythmic Powerhouse of PRIDE

Will Cruse serves as the rhythmic heartbeat of PRIDE - IN THE NAME OF U2, bringing precision, passion, and power to every performance. Born in League City, Texas, Will’s musical journey began at the age of nine when he started learning piano. His transition to guitar and later to drums at thirteen created a multifaceted foundation that shapes his dynamic and melodic approach to drumming.

In PRIDE, Will’s role extends beyond keeping time. His drumming builds the foundation of every performance, locking in with Jerko Dabelić on bass to drive the band’s rhythmic engine. Inspired by Larry Mullen Jr., Will approaches each beat with precision and intent. As Will explains, “Steady time falls under the umbrella of precision. Without it, the band will struggle—and that struggle will be felt by the audience, whether they know it or not.”

Will captures the essence of U2’s sound through his drumming, delivering thunderous intensity on “Sunday Bloody Sunday” and intricate dynamics on “Where the Streets Have No Name.” His technical expertise, paired with a commitment to serving the song, ensures that every performance resonates with authenticity and power.

Offstage, Will believes in the band’s message of hope and unity. For him, PRIDE represents more than a tribute—it creates shared experiences that uplift spirits and connect audiences through the timeless magic of U2’s music.
“A great drumbeat is not about showing off. It is about creating a pulse that people can feel, a rhythm that keeps hearts beating as one.” – Will Cruse

"We're one, but we're not the same

We get to carry each other, carry each other."
